BLOG 2010
I wish I would have started this blog years ago. When I first met Johnny G. Or when I was working with Umbert and PK from Cycle Reebok. That was over 15 years ago. After 20 years in the bicycle industry. What I've found over the years is that there just simply isn’t enough time in the day. You do the best you can. So I'm starting the blog now.

I’m back in Los Angeles , plane just landed. I’m on my way to the office to start packing and prepping for Miami , for the World Spinning conference. We need to get Josh’s ANIMAL bike packed up with all care of the Tiara Diamond. I need to pack up hundreds of items for my sessions. Tonight we go to Toluca Lake Tennis Club and service bikes.

It's 2pm and I've been at Schwinn’s corporate for 1/2 the day. We've torn into some material, I've found some nuggets and I'm taking a little break to collect my thoughts. Everyone here is super cool, I've been able to put faces with names, people I'm on the phones with on a regular basis.

Now that we've figured out what’s wrong, we tear the 4 Jets NXT's apart and rebuild them, they are rebuilt, prepped, and tuned to perfection. My guys Pete and Sergio do the packing, and over packing and they pallet is ready, we make our deadline for Friday. Later that day, the director of operations for Schwinn's Indoor cycling program tells me he wants me in Vancouver Washington at corporate headquarters on Monday to consult on the IC pro. I make plans, book my flight.

We tear open 4 NXT in boxes sent to us from Mad Dogg, the owners of the Spinning brands. We've been contracted to do a prebuild and tune on these units that are going to the New York Jets training camp We start to do our prep work, our magic and find that the bikes have something SERIOUSLY wrong. I call JB, the owner at Spinning and he dispatches engineers from Star Trac to meet me at my warehouse. Later that day, I've got Star Trac engineering talent watching and working with me to diagnose the issues and the fix.
